USAID is funding a study that aims at providing an overview of the Moldovan courier services sector, including recent developments and recommendations on how to further stimulate growth, modern e-commerce solutions and competitiveness of the sector. As it is expected that Posta Moldovei could have a significant positive impact on enhancing e-commerce and promoting non-cash payments, given their reach in the remotest part of Moldova and their infrastructure, it is important for the national postal operator to keep the pace with actual market trends and seize the opportunities of the current context, maximizing its role in the area of trade facilitation for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
The proposed survey will help in evaluating the satisfaction of the companies with the courier services and will allow for designing measures that will consolidate and enhance the capabilities of the Moldovan Post to play an important role in the e-commerce ecosystem.
