Based on AmCham’s Business CORe, Business Climate Sentiment Survey, and Tax&Customs Survey and following the goal and philosophy of the Association, AmCham Moldova aims to foster a transparent, predictable, and efficient business environment by improving the dialogue between the private sector and public authorities. The AmCham METRIX (Moldovan Economic Transformation and Reform IndeX) is a comprehensive business climate assessment tool to evaluate policy impact on the business environment and several key activities that will foster and strengthen the messages from the METRIX, working as a data-driven advocacy mechanism. This exercise is carried out with the support of Victoriabank and Visa, with Forbes Romania as a media partner and CFA Romania as a knowledge partner.

METRIX is composed of two components:
Component 1 : Business perception assessment
A forward-looking component that anticipates economic developments in alignment with Moldova’s EU integration goals. This is based on stakeholder consultations with AmCham members, government institutions, and economic researchers, helping to forecast trends and future challenges for the business community.
