Philip Morris Celebrates 30 Years in Moldova with a new Top Employer Certification

Philip Morris Moldova has been certified as a Top Employer for the fifth time. The distinction reaffirms the company’s commitment to creating a workplace where people feel motivated and inspired to grow professionally. According to Philip Morris Moldova Director Elena Naumenko, the Top Employer certification demonstrates that employees are the top priority of the company, which has been investing in people, the economy, and a sustainable future for 30 years.

The Top Employer certification is the result of an independent assessment conducted by the Top Employers Institute and represents recognition of excellence in human resources practices.

“This year, Philip Morris Moldova marks 30 years of presence on the Moldovan market. The Top Employer certification once again confirms that Philip Morris aims to be a reliable partner for the state - not only through contributions to the national budget and investments in the economy, but also by ensuring employee well-being and fostering a positive and motivating work environment. People are the ones who accelerate innovation and development; therefore, we will continue to invest in excellent working conditions here in Moldova,” said Elena Naumenko, Director of Philip Morris Moldova.

At a global level, Philip Morris International (PMI) has been certified as a Top Employer for the tenth year in a row, being one of only 17 multinational organizations worldwide to receive this recognition from the Top Employers Institute. The company employs more than 83,000 people globally, and its organizational culture is built on collaboration, respect, and diversity.
