The conference "The 10 Year Anniversary of Moldova\'s Civil Code: Achievements, Shortcomings and Perspectives" was held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Justice on 19-20 September 2013.
Organized by the Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, the conference is considered one of the most important assemblies on the Civil Code of Moldova conducted as of late.

The event featured three panels:
-The Importance of Civil Code Provisions and Their Impact on the National Legislation;
-Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Real and Personal Rights
-Theoretical and Practical Aspects of the Law of Obligations, Inheritance Law and Conflict of Laws / Private International Law.

Turcan Cazac partner Octavian Cazac (PhD) and associate Vladimir Palamarciuc were part of the third panel and were invited to address "The Legal Regime of Nullity in the Civil Code of Moldova: Comparative Analysis and Proposals for Reform" and "The Legal Particularities of Pecuniary Obligations", respectively.
Other speakers and moderators included representatives of the judiciary, representatives of the academic community and international participants.
