Pedersen & Partners Expands in Latin America - Takes Over Boulos Consulting in São Paulo, Brazil and Increases the Team in Colombia

São Paulo, Brazil  –  Pedersen & Partners, a leading international Executive Search firm, with 49 wholly owned offices in 46 countries extends its international footprint to São Paulo, Brazil.

The new Pedersen & Partners office in Brazil will be headed by an experienced team consisting of Sami Boulos, Country Manager, Brazil and Leyla Galetto, both joining from the executive search firm Boulos Consulting, along with their clients, database, network etc.

Sami Boulos, Country Manager for Brazil at Pedersen & Partners, brings to the firm an extensive career history and experience with American based companies such as Dow Chemical, FMC Corporation, American Cyanamid and General Electric.  Mr Boulos spent a decade working as a Vice President of Operations and then as Vice President of GE Capital Brazil followed by the opening of Boulos Consulting Group which specializes in executive search.

Mr Boulos holds a Professorship at the Mackenzie University, Brazil.

Ms. Leyla Galetto, who joins as a Principal, will be supporting Mr Boulos and brings 25 years of experience on the Brazilian and Latin American markets to the clients of Pedersen & Partners. Ms Galetto has extensive experience in assessment, evaluation and recruitment of senior professionals and has built practices of leading international Executive Search firms in Brazil and throughout Latin America.

Bogotá, Columbia – Pedro Cadavid is joining the office of Pedersen & Partners in Bogotá, Colombia from 1st March 2012. Mr Cadavid joins, as a Senior Consultant, to the team headed by Fernanda Garcia, Country Manager for Colombia and brings over seven years of experience in executive search and corporate human resources in Colombia. In his career he has addressed the integral management of clients in sectors such as Consumer Goods, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Logistics and Operations, and Retail, managing both national and international clients. In addition to his experience in executive search, Mr Cadavid held a senior role in HR for Alpina, a leading Colombian multinational in the Consumer Goods sector.
