According to the data about the evolution of this segment of the market published by the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (NRAECIT) – from July till September, 2011, Moldcell is a leader again. 

At the end of September this year, Moldcell had over 1 million 171 thousand users and the market share increased up to 34,2%! Besides, it is worth mentioning that currently, the 3G network covers 73% of the territory of the country, which means that coverage improved from the beginning of the year by 47%.  Also, this autumn, Moldcell service “Please, call me” was nominated among 3 best practices from 120 applications within the framework of TeliaSonera Excellence Award.  

On September 30^th, 2011, the number of users of mobile services exceeded 3 million 427,3 thousand, the rate of penetration of the services per 100 people of the republic amounted to 96,3%, according to the data of the NRAECIT about the evolution of this segment of the market during nine months of this year.

During this period, the number of users of mobile communication increased, compared to January 1^st, 2011, by 8,3%, while the rate of penetration of these services  - by 7,5 percentage points.
