Bemol Retail: Bemol Motocross Cup 2011

The third BEMOL MOTOCROSS CUP took place in Hincesti city on 22-23 October, hosting 71 riders from Moldova, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Holland, Latvia, Belorussia, Russia, Ukraine and Romania. Despite cold temperatures a record breaking 10,000 spectators came to the racetrack on 23 October.

”The competition gets bigger and better every year, more participants came this year and the sportsmen who were here before, came back with their friends. This year we also had more professionals then ever. We were also helped by high-profile sponsors like Moldcell, Land Rover/DAAC-Hermes and our media partner ProTV, and together with them we managed to attract more riders and better conditions on the track and in general.” said Thomas Moser general director of BEMOL. „The only pity is that our best Moldovan rider, Mihai Cociu, could not participate due to an injury” added Thomas.

At the end of an exciting weekend Toms Macuks (Latvia), Andrey Burenko (Ukraine), Konstantin Utkin (Ukraine), Christoph Schade (Germany) and Artyom Guryev (Russia) and Alexandru Gratinaru (Romania) left Hincesti as the winners of the competitions in the various categories.
