Senior Consultant in Customs and Foreign Trade

Requirements:

· University degree in Finance, Taxation, Law or Accounting

· 4 years minimum of proven customs related experience

· high technical knowledge of customs principles and provisions (i.e. origin of goods, customs tariff classification, customs regimes and procedures, customs valuation)

· excellent English communication skills both oral and written

· computer literacy (MS Office)

· high level of business awareness

· logical thinking and a strong attention to detail

· client service orientation and creativity

· ability to proactively and flexibly work in a team, strong time management

· ability to adapt to an intensive and multitask working environment

· ability to supervise people and projects, meet deadlines and deliver high quality results

· strong presentation & influencing skills

· career and success orientation along with commitment to work

· availability to travel

· knowledge of the customs authorities’ practice is an advantage

· knowledge of the EU customs regulations is an advantage

· certificate in customs clearance is an advantage

· technical knowledge of VAT and accounting framework is an advantage

· experience in providing professional consulting services to large or medium size companies is an advantage
