BCR CHISINAU has celebrated Christmas holiday together with the children from Nemteni

Chisinau, Decemebr 28, 2010. Banca Comercială Română Chişinău S.A. has celebrated the Christmas Eve together with the children from the preparatory group of the „Fluturas” kindergarten from Nemteni village, Hancesti rayon.

For the kids from BCR class from the Nemteni kindergarten, Santa Claus came earlier and was brought by the BCR Chisinau team. Those 20 children have received Santa traditionally with poems, carols and New Year wishes. In his turn, Santa Claus offered sweets to children to make them feel the taste of the winter holidays.

„The children from Nemteni kindergarten have surprised us greatly with poems and carols. Thus, the Christmas surprises and gifts were reciprocal. As mentioned previously, we will continue to invest in their education during 2011 as well, being firmly convinced that namely the investments in education represent the key of a prosperous future for Moldova”, said Sorin Andrei, executive president of BCR Chisinau.

In September this year, 20 children from the preparatory group of ”Fluturas” kindergarten from Nemteni village were taken under the guardianship of BCR Chisinau, thus forming the BCR Group. BCR Chisinau’s initial support offered to these children consisted of school supplies. Later, BCR Chisinau has offered to Nemteni gymnasium school furniture, including tables, chairs and closets, worth over 18.000 MDL.

The support provided by BCR Chisinau to the gymnasium from Nemteni is part of an internal campaign “BCR – community partner” launched in July 2010, aimed at providing help to people affected by this summer’s floods.
