BCR Chisinau keeps investing in education of children from Nemteni

Chisinau, October 13, 2010. Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau S.A. paid again a visit to the children from the „Fluturas” kindergarten from Nemteni village, Hincesti. This time, the bank\'s representatives came with a donation to the local gymnasium, where next year the 20 children taken under the BCR Chisinau’s guardianship will go in the first grade.

BCR Chisinau offered to Gymnasium from Nemteni school furniture, including tables, chairs and cabinets. They have already been installed in the future classroom of BCR Group. Besides, it was partially furnished the IT classroom and Gymnasium’s Library. Overall furniture value is over 18.000 MDL.

”By this donation, we want to make sure that the children from BCR Group enjoy decent studying conditions, which surely will motivate them to come at school with pleasure. BCR Chisinau’s investment in the future of these children do not stop here, as they will be under our protectorate throughout entire gymnasium cycle. We consider these donations as investments, being firmly convinced that they are a catalyst for the formation of future professionals of Moldova” said Sorin Andrei, executive president of BCR Chisinau.

In September this year, 20 children from the preparatory group of ”Fluturas” kindergarten from Nemteni village were taken under the guardianship of BCR Chisinau, thus forming the BCR Group. BCR Chisinau’s initial support offered to these children consisted of school supplies.

The support provided by BCR Chisinau to the gymnasium from Nemteni is part of an internal campaign “BCR – community partner” launched in July 2010, aimed at providing help to people affected by this summer’s floods. The bank has offered primary necessity items worth 18.000 MDL and 7,000 MDL transferred to the accounts opened by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova.
