International Ethno Jazz Festival 2009 For the 8th time consecutive Chisinau will be hosting the International Ethno Jazz Festival and for 8th time Moldcell supports this event with an international importance, just because we highly appreciate and value the culture in general and the music in particular. As before, 2009 edition promises to surprise the audience with original accords and performances each day of festival. Especially since this year presents such artists as: The Shin from Georgia, Djabe (Hungary), Alex Calancea Trio (Moldova), Klaus Paier Trio (Hungary), Grzegogz Karnas Quintet (Poland), Louis Sclavis Trio (France), Duendre Y Aire (Spain), Nadishana/Metz/Shenan Trio (Russia/Germany/USA), Renato Borgheti Quartet (Brazil), Vladiswar Nadishana (Russia) and Trigon (Moldova). As a general partner of festival we launch a SMS quiz dedicated exclusively to our subscribers. By sending a SMS with the text JAZZ to the short number 3006, every Moldcell client can accumulate points and win one of 10 double season tickets, Ethno Jazz 2009 t-shirts and posters with Jazz artists autograph. The price for one SMS sent to 3006 is 2.50 lei (VAT included). The SMS quiz is organized from September 1st until 21st by Kaifon content-provider. The regulation and results will be available on www.kaifon.md. The International Ethno Jazz Festival was registered in the Catalog of Word Festival, confirming its importance and value promoted during its existence. This fact makes it the most important cultural event in our country and outside.
