During September 11 - 14, 2008, Moldova will be hosting for the 7th time the Intiernational Ethno-Jazz Festival, which has gained popularity not just in our country, but also far beyond its borders, occupying an honorable place in the International Catalog of Festivals. This year|s edition will invite jazz stars to several concert halls of Moldova: in Chisinau performances will be presented on the stages of "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater and the Organ Hall; in Balti, at the Center of Culture and Youth; and in Tiraspol. at the College of Music. The festival has already become a nice tradition, opening by right the fall cultural season in the country. The organizers "Trigon Art Group" and the Center of Innovation Technologies "Atelierul Viitorului" did their best to ensure the presence of numerous jazz talents, whereas the general partner Moldcell provides for the seventh consecutive year all the necessary support to add more value to the festival and conduct it at the highest professional level. The 7th festival edition promises to present original rhythms and accords performed by such artists as: Trio Balkan Strings (Serbia), Saskia Laroo Band (Netherlands, USA), Orientzpress (Germany, Iran), Pulcinella (France), Ulrich Drechsler Trio (Austria), Eldis la Rosa Trio (Cuba, Great Britain, Venezuela), Amine&Hamza MaRaihi (Tunisia), Kaulakau (Spain), Ronin (Switzerland), Dominik Bukowski Quintet (Poland), Dorel Burlacu & www.funky.md (Moldova), Geta Burlacu Quintet (Moldova), Conaghan Duo (Great Britain), Univox (Moldova) and, certainly, Trigon (Moldova). Apart from the previous editions, this one includes 2 contests, in which anyone can win free season tickets for the concerts organized within the festival, t-shirts issued in limited edition, and CDs to the liking of many ethno-jazz fans. All Moldcell clients can test their fortune by registering in one of the contests: 1. A radio contest broadcasted daily during August 11-20 at "Serebryanyi Dozhd" channel. Everyone is welcome to answer the moderator|s questions daily, at 15:00 o|clock, at the frequency of 107.9 FM. 2. An SMS Quiz organized by Kaifon company from August 11 till September 2, 2008.
