AmCham Moldova Will Visit the Retirement Home in Chisinau

On December 24, AmCham Moldova, in cooperation with DHL Moldova, will visit the elderly in Chisinau, where 140 retired and homeless persons live. We at AmCham value all ages in our communities from the very young to the very old. The oldest in nursing homes often feel isolated and excluded so this year we continue the format launched last year within traditional Christmas Collection Project by visiting a retirement home.

Early next week, a DHL courier will visit all companies that have joined the Christmas campaign to collect goods. AmCham succeeded to collect this year warm clothes, slippers, blankets, linens, towels, pampers, socks, food, juices, furniture, money and other goods.

While a single visit to a nursing home will be a valuable experience for us, we hope it will brighten the day for the senior citizens.
