Last Friday, AmCham hosted a Roundtable on Tax reforms. The meeting was dedicated to AmCham members in order to inform the community about the upcoming implementation of tax reforms, answering a series of questions such as: what to expect from the reform; how long will it take until tax relief is cancelled; and how sanctions system reform in the economic field will take place. The members present had the chance to raise questions on the relief of tax payments for lawyers, the attractivity of Moldova as a low tax country for investors and others.
The Roundtable proved valuable for both parties, as authorities were able to gain more insight into the constraints faced by businesses; while entrepreneurs were equipped with information on what should be implemented now and what to expect in the future.
