We announce a new vacant position of Information Security Officer. The main responsibilities will include recommending, implementing, monitoring and maintaining the organization’s information security programs.

Main responsibility areas:

Assistance in the implementation and maintenance of the TeliaSonera information security policies;
Development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the enforcement of policies, procedures, and associated plans for system security administration and user system access, based on the industry-standard best practices.
Establishment and administration of processes for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and taking action on all complaints concerning the information security issues;
Organizational and technical measures to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.

Qualification and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT or related field;
7+ years of combined experience in information security, information technology and related fields;
Excellent execution, follow up, project management and coordination skills;
Fluent in English; Romanian and Russian at conversation level.

Personal Profile:

Deep knowledge of information security technologies, compliance and regulations, and of information governance best practices;
Demonstrated Business Strategy, Security Strategy, Risk Management, Emerging Threat Identification, and Incident Management Skills;
Excellent decision making skills and ability to strive for results with professionalism and diligence;
Analytical skills with problem solving capacity;
