On April 17, at the National Center for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP), under the aegis of the Twinning Project was held a meeting regarding the opportunity of elaboration the code of conduct for financial - banking sector entities.
The meeting was attended by the NCPDP's representatives, resident Twinning Adviser and representative of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova.
Mainly, the discussions were focused on the importance of including the following provisions into the draft of the code:
(a) fair and transparent processing;
(b) the legitimate interests pursued by controllers in specific contexts;
(c) the collection of personal data;
(d) the pseudonymization of personal data;
(e) the information provided to the public and to data subjects;
(f) the exercise of the rights of data subjects.
