On December 8, AmCham Healthcare Committee met with the recently appointed Secretary General at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection, as well as high level representatives from the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, National Health Insurance Company, and the Center for Public Procurement in Healthcare.
Parties have agreed on the need to set a public consultation platform under the ministry for regular discussions on priority topics. It was also communicated that a series of AmCham recommendations regarding the draft law on medicines, targeting a better alignment with EU directives, had been reevaluated and are to be reflected in the document.
