AmCham participated at Customs Service’s Consultative Council meeting. Among the main subjects proposed on the agenda were such as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), electronic declaration, the new concept of internal customs posts activity, the actual process of reducing the number of compulsory customs clearance, simplification of the procedure of certification of origin, customs implementation of blue corridor clearance and the decrease of red one.
As a result, the Head of Customs Services mentioned as priority for 2016 year would be the implementation of the best practices in customs administration in line with the commitments undertaken under the Association Agreement EU-Moldova, DCFTA and government priorities outlined in the main documents of national policies.
