Fruitful collaboration with Customs Service transposed in „Vama rapida pentru posta rapida” approach

Some members of the Trade and Manufacturing Committee participated at the meeting of the Advisory Committee under the Customs Service, held on 28th of March.
AmCham raised three issues, related to the methodology of customs clearance of goods managed by express courier services.

As a result of our collaboration, Customs Service changed their approach towards express courier services in accordance to the specifity of this particular domain, announcing noticeable changes such as reducing the clearance time from 5 days to 3 hours.

Also, several customs officers will be deployed at points of receipt and processing in order to enhance the flow of goods managed by rapid post.
