Moldova Agroindbank: Global Banking & Finance Review declares MAIB as best Moldovan bank in 2013

The international publication Global Banking & Finance Review has declared the Moldova Agroindbank (MAIB) as the country’s best bank in 2013.

According to the press service of MAIB, the Global Banking & Finance Review assessed the back according to several financial indexes, such as: the loan and deposit portfolios, the distribution chain, the variety and access of products and services, as well as the corporate social responsibility.

“Agroindbank is the leading financial institution in the Moldovan banking system and plays a significant role in the development of economy, in the implementation of social programs of national importance, as well as in the elaboration of modern banking products and services,” the review mentioned.

According to the publication, MAIB holds leading positions in terms of banking efficiency and in the main segments of the banking activities (assets – 19.2%, loans – 20.6% and deposits – 19.2%).

Global Banking & Finance Review also highlighted the significant role of the MAIB in the development and consolidation of Moldova’s relations with foreign financial institutions, as well as in the promotion of the country’s image at international level.
