The Second Edition of AmCham METRIX (Moldovan Economic Transformation and Reform IndeX) presents an in-depth, data-driven assessment of how government policies shape Moldova’s business climate. This structured tool evaluates the impact of regulatory changes, highlights priority areas for improvement, and strengthens evidence-based dialogue between the private sector and public authorities.
This edition draws on findings from a nationwide Business Perception Assessment, offering a clear picture of how companies experience current policies and their implementation.
Participants will also gain insights into future policy forecasting, including Moldova’s EU accession commitments and anticipated regulatory developments that will shape the country’s economic trajectory.
Grounded in AmCham’s Business CORe, Business Climate Sentiment Survey, and Tax & Customs Survey, the METRIX initiative reflects the Association’s commitment to promoting a transparent, predictable, and efficient business environment. By consolidating data, expert analysis, and structured stakeholder dialogue, METRIX serves as a robust advocacy instrument designed to support informed policymaking and a more resilient economy.
