Cross border trade issues remain to be a major priority for the Committee. Thus on September 19, the Committee held an informative session with Customs Service on origin of goods. Additionally AmCham had a series of other meetings with Customs Service representatives on the clearance of parcel deliveries.

The environmental legislation continues to be a hot topic for AmCham members. Recently, AmCham submitted two letters to the Parliament urging to adopt amendments to the Law 1540/1998.
The Committee also met two times to discuss the draft regulation on packaging waste, as well as the draft regulation on waste electrical & electronic equipment.
