AmCham Met with the Leadership of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency to Address Key Challenges Faced by the Business Community

Today, AmCham Moldova met with the leadership of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency to address key challenges faced by the business community. Discussions focused on issues related to the designation of authorized representatives for medical device manufacturers and inefficiencies in the medical device registration process.

During the meeting, both parties agreed to identify and align on technical solutions that would allow manufacturers to designate multiple authorized representatives for different categories of medical devices. Additionally, potential improvements to the information system for medical device notification were explored.

AmCham Moldova appreciates the constructive dialogue with the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency and looks forward to continued collaboration.
