AmCham Engaged in EU Policy Coordination Call Alongside AmChams in Europe

Veronica Sirețeanu Vragaleva, Deputy Director, and Vasile Stepanuc, Policy Manager, represent AmCham Moldova in the EU Policy coordination call, along with 33 other representatives of the AmChams in Europe Community.

Three main topics are discussed:

• Advocacy updates and issues about the forthcoming Omnibus simplification legislative package that is due to be published on 26 February, as well as the Competitiveness Compass;
• Discussions about the joint statement calling for withdrawing the Artificial Intelligence Liability Directive (AILD);
• AmCham EU’s statement on US steel and aluminum tariffs.

By being a part of AmChams in Europe Community, which serves as the umbrella organization for 45 American Chambers of Commerce from 43 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia, AmCham Moldova is involved in policy discussions all around Europe to put forward recommendations for strong and sound economic recovery for the prosperity and wellbeing of all our citizens and businesses.
