Noua lege privind protecția datelor cu caracter personal, care transpune acquis-ul comunitar în legislația națională, va fi promovată într-un ritm mai rapid.

Proiectul de lege, mult discutat de-a lungul anilor pe mai multe platforme, atât în ​​Guvern, cât și în Parlament, a fost finalizat astăzi în cadrul unui grup de lucru din subordinea Ministerului Justiției al Republicii Moldova, membrii grupului de lucru ajungând la un acord asupra principalelor prevederi ale legii.

AmCham și membrii săi au fost parte al acestui grup de lucru, contribuind la apropierea proiectului de lege de prevederile legislației naționale și a acquis-ului comunitar.

Proiectul de lege va face, de asemenea, obiectul unor consultări publice repetate cu publicul larg.

The new law on personal data protection, which transposes the EU GDPR into national legislation, should be promoted at a faster pace.

The draft law, much discussed over the years on several platforms, both in Government and Parliament, was finalized today within a working group under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, as members of the working group essentially reached an agreement on the law's main provisions. 

AmCham and its members were part of this working group. They contributed to bringing the bill closer to the provisions of the national legislation and the acquis communautaire.

But this is still not the end; the bill will also be subject to repeated public consultations with the general public.
