AmCham Leadership Met with the U.S. Ambassador Kent D. Logsdon and Scott Hocklander, USAID Moldova Mission Director

Since its establishment, AmCham Moldova has benefited from the generous support of the U.S. Embassy to promote the mission of the AmCham business community – that of fostering a better business climate attractive for investors from the US and Europe. Additionally, the U.S. provides impressive financial aid to Moldova, including the most recent grant of $50 million to consolidate Moldovan energy security.

Many important issues were discussed during the breakfast meeting of the AmCham Honorary President, Ambassador Kent D. Logsdon, Scott Hocklander, USAID Moldova Mission Director, and members of the AmCham Board of directors, such as energy security and diversification, security cooperation, including cybersecurity, digitalization, good governance and the rule of law, and, of course, the quality of policy dialogue and the importance of business regulatory framework predictability.
