Call for Projects: Help us Improve Trust in Local Business Communities

  • 07.06.2021

Though environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues have traditionally been of secondary concern to business, most corporate leaders today understand that businesses have a key role to play in tackling urgent challenges such as climate change and others. Nowadays, many companies are already engaging and implementing projects and best practices that contribute to ESG factors.

Are you one of them?

AmChams in Europe, an umbrella organization of 46 AmChams from 44 countries, together with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), seeks best practices on how American, European or local companies contribute to the development of local communities by contributing to the ESG factors.

Please share your story with us!

We are looking for projects that companies have implemented around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors or standards that they have adopted regardless of local government regulations. You may submit examples of how your member companies are enhancing the transparency or accountability of partners or suppliers, engaging a diverse workforce, or how they are strengthening local market institutions.

Please share your story with us by sending a short description (300 words) of your project (you can help with the form attached).

We will share it further.

We (AmCham) will select three and apply them to the call for projects of the CIPE and AmChams in Europe organization. The organizations will further select the top examples and work with AmChams and the company directly to develop each one into a more comprehensive case study. The selected case studies will be promoted on an international level to showcase your work in the region.

If you would like to apply with your innovative and impressive projects and good practices, please send them our way as soon as possible (but no later than June 12, 2021).

You can find enclosed the application form for your submissions.

Should you be interested in joining the project please contact Elena Buzu, Deputy Director on Finance and Administration at elenabuzu@amcham.md.
