The 2020-2022 Members of CACIC Steering Committee Were Elected

In accordance with the Arbitration Court Charter, the Board of Directors have elected the new members of the Steering Committee of Chisinau International Court of Commercial Arbitration.

AmCham is pleased to present the newly-elected Steering Committee to serve the Court for the following mandate:

-Roger Gladei, Gladei & Partners, obtained a new mandate as the Arbitration Court President
-George Teodorescu, Mixbook, was reelected as Deputy President of the CACIC Steering Committee
-Daniel Cobzac, Cobzac & Partners, as a member of the Steering Committee
-Sergiu Bivol, Vernon David, as a member of the Steering Committee
-Serghei Covali, COVALI | Litigation & Arbitration, as a member of the Steering Committee
Chisinau International Court of Commercial Arbitration is a permanent arbitration body institutionalized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova). The purpose of the Court of Arbitration is to increase the use of domestic and international arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation.

Among the competences of the Court of Arbitration are settlement of internal and international disputes, commercial and other types of disputes, by institutionalized and ad-hoc arbitration alike, all in accordance with the international treaties to which Moldova is a party, domestic laws and regulations. The Court will also formulate suggestions on improving the regulatory framework related to arbitration proceedings.
