Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with relevant accounting experience of over 4 years;
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and constantly updated with the changes in legislation;
• Advanced knowledge of 1C accounting software;
• Customer oriented, well organized and communicative;
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills in Romanian, English and Russian;
• Strong business awareness;
• Computer literate.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of companies with trading, financing activities;
• Review the work, supervise and train junior team members;
• Correspondence with clients in order to collect the necessary information or clarify various matters;
• Post the transactions of a Company in the accounting software;
• Post the VAT transactions of a Company;
• Preparation of payroll and calculation of medical and social contributions. Preparation of payslips and social insurance forms and income tax forms. Payment of social contribution and taxes on behalf of the client;
• Preparation and submission of reports to Authorities (e.g. VAT, tax return);
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with the National Accounting Standards;
• Filling all hard copy documentation into the appropriate files and all electronic documentation on the server;
• Reconciliation of the suppliers, petty cash and bank accounts;
• Preparation and posting of closing entries;
• Preparation of monthly reports to clients;
• Administration of clients (e.g. issue of invoices, statements of accounts).
