 CHISINAU, 21 SEPTEMBER 2012. BCR Chisinau launches a new promotional offer for individuals valid from 21 September to 31 December 2012. As part of the new promotion, BCR Chisinau depositors will benefit from a higher interest rate, 0.5 percentage points higher for deposits in Moldovan lei and 0.25 percentage points higher for deposits in foreign currency.

The offer is addressed to individuals who are loyal customers of BCR Chisinau and who made and held to maturity at least one time deposit in the minimum amount of 10,000 MDL (or equivalent in foreign currency) and wish to make during the promotion period a new deposit in the minimum amount of 10,000 MDL (or equivalent in foreign currency) for at least 6 months.

Under the new offer, customers can choose one of the three products included in the promotion:

- Sigur BCR: deposit in MDL or foreign currency, for a period of 6 months, with a fixed interest rate, regardless of fluctuations on the market;
- Flexibil BCR: deposit in MDL or foreign currency for 6, 12 and 24 months, with a floating interest rate and option of capitalization for deposits for 12 to 24 months, which allows partial withdrawals and additional replenishments;
- Senior BCR: deposit for pensioners, in MDL or foreign currency for 12 months with a floating interest rate and option of capitalization, which allows partial withdrawals and additional replenishments.
