Pedersen & Partners: We expand our international footprint to Asia and open offices in Shanghai and Jakarta
SHANGHAI, JAKARTA – 22 January, 2012 - Pedersen & Partners, a leading international Executive Search firm with 48 wholly owned offices in 45 countries, has today announced the opening of its offices in Shanghai, China and in Jakarta, Indonesia, thus further extending its international footprint.
Gautier Vasseur, Partner in charge of Pedersen & Partners’ expansion to Greater China, will be leading the operations of the new Shanghai office whilst Michael Al-Nassir, Partner in charge of Pedersen & Partners’ South East Asian expansion, will be overseeing the opening of the Jakarta office. With this continuous growth of its broad international coverage, the firm provides clients with access to a global pool of high-calibre executives and the cross-sector expertise of its consultants.
Mr. Vasseur comments on the event: “The expansion to Greater China is a logical step for us and confirms the commitment to our strategy of achieving global presence. Ms. Olya Eastman has over 13 years of experience in the Executive Search industry in China. In Shanghai since 1998, she has gained extensive experience in assessment, evaluation and recruitment of senior professionals and built practices of leading international Executive Search firms in China and throughout Asia, with a particular focus on the Manufacturing and Consumer industries.
On the Jakarta office opening, Mr. Al-Nassir commented: “Opening an office in Jakarta is our first step into South East Asia. Indonesia is a fast developing country and one of the largest markets in the region, with a growing demand for our services. Victor Dumitrescu has been appointed to manage the Pedersen & Partners operation in Indonesia. Based in Jakarta, Mr. Dumitrescu will take on the responsibility for continued development and growth of Pedersen & Partners business in the Indonesian market, utilising the firm’s wide geographical coverage and a deep industry expertise, to assist local and international clients in attracting senior management talent. Mr. Dumitrescu joined Pedersen & Partners in 2006 and has since been involved in a large number of searches covering various industries such as FMCG, Private Equity and Pharmaceuticals. He has an extraordinary capability to strengthen client relationships and has thus successfully developed a strong portfolio of loyal clients.
