Over the past decade, S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM has developed an integrated and sustainable business model covering the entire value chain—from agricultural producers to the delivery of finished products to maritime ports and international buyers. The Company owns storage capacities exceeding 160,000 tons, distributed across three modern grain elevators and flat storage facilities, all equipped with advanced technical infrastructure and an in-house quality control laboratory. The laboratory conducts comprehensive analyses of quality parameters, including moisture, gluten, and protein content, ensuring full compliance with international standards and GAFTA contractual requirements.
With a view to ensuring sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint, S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM has made significant investments in renewable energy infrastructure. The Company has constructed and commissioned two photovoltaic power plants at its own elevators in Edineț and Cahul, and is currently in the process of installing a third photovoltaic facility in Soroca. These investments cover a substantial portion of the Company’s internal electricity consumption, reducing operating costs and reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
In the field of logistics, S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM operates its own fleet of trucks and barges and has access to railway transportation, enabling efficient management of cargo flows and timely deliveries to major export hubs, including the ports of Reni and Giurgiulești. The Company maintains strong long-term partnerships with port operators, transport providers, and financial institutions, ensuring stable and predictable commercial operations.
In recent years, annual export volumes have exceeded 400,000 tons, with the Company maintaining a stable presence in the markets of Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Egypt, and other countries. This performance demonstrates the managerial and financial strength of the management team, which possesses extensive experience in commercial and logistics operations, as well as advanced expertise in market analysis and risk management.
The evolution of S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM’s export volumes during the period 2017–2025 demonstrates a consistent and robust growth trend, even in the context of global challenges caused by pandemic-related and economic crises.
Despite global economic volatility and logistics disruptions caused by the pandemic, the growth in S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM’s export volumes is remarkable, having increased more than sevenfold compared to the 2017–2018 agricultural year, when exports amounted to 61 thousand tons. Following a temporary decline in 2022–2023 due to external factors—such as transportation bottlenecks, price fluctuations, and regional trade restrictions—the Company achieved a rapid and sustainable recovery, reaching a record volume of 434.994 thousand tons in the 2024–2025 season.
In the 2025 - 2026 financial year, S.R.L. RUSAGRO-PRIM set a new record, with export volumes for the period July–December 2025 alone reaching approximately 400,000 tons.
