GREEN FUTURE CONFERENCE
Green Future Conference, now in its second edition, continues establishing itself as a pivotal platform for promoting sustainability and green practices in the Republic of Moldova. Following the success of its inaugural edition in March 2024, which sparked impactful discussions on decarbonization, cross-sector collaboration, and green financing, the second edition aims to solidify its status as an annual tradition and a driver of meaningful change. This edition will bring together leaders from the public sector, the business community, and international organizations to explore tangible solutions to pressing challenges. Key themes will include decarbonizing the economy, efficient resource management, and integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria into business strategies. The conference will also highlight excellence in sustainability through the Green Award Gala, recognizing companies, organizations, and leaders who contribute significantly to building a sustainable economy. Objectives of Green Future Conference 2025: • Focusing on the green transition: Promoting a sustainable economic model aligned with European standards. • Fostering partnerships: Creating a constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors and civil society. • Engaging the private sector: Supporting the adoption of green practices in business strategies and operations. • Recognizing outstanding efforts: Honoring leaders and innovative initiatives through the Green Award. As Moldova defines its legislative and strategic framework for sustainable development, the Green Future Conference becomes more than an event – a platform for collaboration, inspiration, and action. It supports the transition toward a green, competitive, and resilient economy. The conference is supported by the European Union through the Green Transition program implemented by UNDP.
