The Technovation Challenge is the world\'s largest social entrepreneurship program for young women. Its goal is to inspire and support girls and women to become creators and innovators.

Diana, Sanda and Livia are three young girls that are eager to change Moldova with the help of IT solutions. They have developed the prototype of an app that seeks to empower people with disabilities by giving them the chance to sell the handmade objects they produce through their app. The Handmade Goods app is trying to solve a community problem – given that people with disabilities have fewer opportunities in Moldova and their employment rate is 3 times lower than that of the general population. This is more than just an online shop, this app has personality. The buyers will be able to discover the story of each product along with the personal life story of the person that created it.

Technovation Challenge este cel mai mare program din lume de antreprenoriat social pentru tinere. Scopul său este de a inspira şi a susţine tinerele să devină creatoare şi inovatoare.

Diana, Sanda și Livia sunt trei tinere dornice de a schimba Moldova cu ajutorul soluțiilor IT. Fetele au dezvoltat prototipul unei aplicații care are scopul de a oferi oamenilor cu dizabilități posibilitatea de a comercializa obiectele artizanale pe care le confecţionează. Aplicaţia „Handmade Goods” încearcă să rezolve o problemă comunitate - dat fiind faptul că persoanele cu dizabilități au mai puține oportunități în Moldova, iar rata de angajare în cîmpul muncii este de 3 ori mai mică decât cea a populației generale. Această aplicaţie este mai mult decât doar un magazin on-line, această aplicație are personalitate. Utilizatorii aplicaţiei vor avea ocazia să descopere povestea din spatele fiecărui produs, dar şi povestea de viaţă a persoanei care l-a creat.

Ajută aceste tinere să ajungă la World Pitch Summit pentru a învăța cum să dezvolte această aplicaţie şi idee de afaceri.
