AmCham welcomes the extension until 2035 of the IT Park in the Republic of Moldova

AmCham Moldova welcomes the extension until 2035 of the IT Park in the Republic of Moldova and the maintenance of the single tax of 7%. This is provided in the draft amendment to Law no. 77 dated 21.04.2016 regarding information technology parks, adopted by the Parliament.

At the same time, the list of eligible types of activity within the IT Park will be expanded. With limitations to export only, call centers and other labor supply services will be possible to be carried out.

Also, it will be established a council that will coordinate the activity of the IT Park. The Council will be formed by representatives of the Government, the associative sector, IT park residents, as well as development partners.

AmCham actively contributed, together with other business associations, to the finalization of the document, and the legislative changes made will contribute to attracting investments and relocation of IT businesses in the Republic of Moldova.
