Accounting, Taxes and Treasury Manager

The firm is looking for an Accounting, Taxes and Treasury Manager who will be reporting to Financial Director and will be responsible for accounting team.

Activity objectives:

• Record accurately and timely the financial figures of the company, to manage and supervise the tax, accounting and treasury procedures and financial reports prepared for the state organizations and for the Group
• Provide Financial Director with all information needed for management decisions related to company‘s shareholders, customers, suppliers, banks or other legal entities in accordance with financial legislation.

The successful candidate will be able to:

Maintain the financial integrity of the company:

• Drafting and timely delivery of accounting statements (balance check, etc.)
• Supervision and approval of the declarations of VAT, tax and other taxes
• Recording of accounting operations related to company’s heritage
• Control of inventory, receipts and undelivered payments
• Maintenance the financial reports in a honest, correct and complete manner
• Development and implementation of internal financial control procedures related to coordinated activities
• Ensuring that company follows all financial, accounting, legal and tax regulations
• Organization and maintenance of the fixed assets inventory in accordance with the law
• Maintenance of financial record and book-keeping
• Supervision of tax payment procedures and of other financial, fiscal and statistical reports
• Information systems update in accordance with the economic and technological changes.

Provide a strong financial leadership:

• Maintenance of relationships with authorities, the banks and auditors
• Coordination of the team during the financial controls run by state organizations and financial audits
• Coordination of financial statements elaboration and the timely submission of all statements required by law
• Execution of VAT statements and income taxes and the timely submission of all statements required by law
• Team work with the financial department and the other departments of the company

Leading of financial and accounting management policies:
• Supervision of accounting and treasury team and ensuring it functions at optimum parameters
• Recruitment and training of accounting and treasury staff
• Identification and refer the sectors that can be improved in terms of accounting, tax and treasury
• Motivation of subordinators

In respect of the ideal candidate profile:

• University degree in Economics, Department of Finance / Accounting. Master Degree or professional certification in finance is a benefit
• Minimum three years of experience in management of a financial-accounting team
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and reporting according to Moldovan National Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as fiscal legislation
• Excellent business understanding and analytical skills, able to find solutions to complex financial and tax issues
• Leadership, excellent management skills, personal standing
• Multitasking and results oriented professional, with good level of initiative, able to work within tight deadlines
• Very good knowledge of Excel, World and Power Point
• Fluent English is a must
• Desire to relocate to Rezina.
