Bemol Retail: V1 Challenge has arrived in Balti

The month of July began with a new V1 Challenge round sponsored by BEMOL – this time organized in Balti. For this event was blocked a portion of I. Gagarin street which serves as entrance into Balti from Chisinau direction. The V1 pilots arrived in Balti a few hours before the actual race, to give the locals a small show in the center of the city and demonstrate what Volkicars can do.

For this 3rd edition of V1 Challenge showed up hundreds of spectators both from Balti and cities around, including Chisinau. The Balti “Challenge” was different from the other two - this one had in-stored 2 races for the pro-drivers. Between races, some lucky spectators had the chance to be the “co-pilots” of 2 professional drivers and to be driven around at maximum speed in Mitsubishi Evo 7 vehicles.

The Balti V1 Challenge race wasn’t an easy one, but actually quite eventful: from impact between 2 volkicars, to quite a few technical difficulties. The pilots, who succeeded in over passing their competition, remained in the following race. During the break the cars were “recharged” by technicians with BEMOL fuel. After the 2 rounds, the top three spots were assigned:
1st Place - Nicolae Chiriac
2nd Place - Octavian Nicolaescu
3rd Place - Chiril Gaburici

The next edition of V1 Challenge will take place in the middle of august, in Hancesti city.
