Agricultural Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project Publishes Taxes in Moldova 2012 Handbook

  • 10.05.2012

The Agricultural Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project (ACED), co-funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), has published a special handbook on taxes and fees levied on agriculture producers and other agribusinesses in Moldova in 2012.
The Taxes in Moldova 2012 Handbook is intended to help micro enterprises and small-scale producers handle the complex and ever changing tax system. Its aim is to help small farmers enter the formal economy, where they need to provide sales documentation and pay taxes.
This handbook includes all amendments to the tax legislation through January 1, 2012, and gives insights of the application of general and local taxes, customs and road duties, as well as license fees.
The Taxes in Moldova 2012 Handbook contains the central and regional treasury account numbers, the codes of financial contributions, and a calendar of payments, which can be utilized as an instrument in everyday company management. The handbook also includes examples on how to manage various tax-related directives issued by government agencies.
The handbook is available in Romanian and can be downloaded from our website www.aced.md, in PDF format, or released by electronic mail (info@aced.md). It is also available as a free-of-charge, printed handout at our office in Chisinau (Kentford Building, 3rd floor, tel. +373-22-595-265).
