BCR Chisinau: A unique cultural project is launched with the support of BCR Chisinau

Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau S.A. is a partner and sponsor of the first edition of the Flow Festival in Chisinau, a unique project which promotes multicultural values. The festival will run from September 16 to 18.

The „Flow” Festival starts with the idea to open new ways of communication; its purpose being the creation of a network between artists and scientists which will contribute to an approach of the Danube countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary. According to the organizers, the discussions and projects of the “flow” community will be focused around the keywords – „fragility”, „openness” and „freedom”.

„BCR Chisinau’s involvement in supporting this festival comes to confirm our European vocation. Moreover, I believe the festival is a necessary event for social and cultural life of Moldova, as it is an opportunity for scientists and artists from here to establish relationships with their colleagues from other countries from the Danube Basin”, said Sorin Andrei, the Chief Executive of BCR Chisinau.

The initiative of organizing this festival belongs to the Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria, having the goal to support the building of lasting ties between people from different regions and interests, to establish international partnerships.

In Chisinau, the events’ program will include, in addition to the discussions on various topics, prose and poetry recitals, open-air cinema, and concerts. All events will take place on the terrace of the Writers Union and in the „Valea Morilor” park.

BCR Chisinau is a continuous supporter of projects and activities that promote communication and intercultural exchanges.
