The Company EFES Vitanta Moldova Brewery (EVMB) becomes the exclusive distributor of the Heineken beer in the Republic of Moldova in the beginning of 2010 year. The famous Dutch brand is imported directly from Amsterdam and is available on the market in 0,33 l glass bottles and soon in 0.5 l Cans.

The Heineken beer brand is part of the Super Premium category and represents a product of the company Heineken Brouwerijen B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Heineken is Europe’s largest brewer and the world’s third largest by volume. The company owns over 115 breweries in over 65 countries. As a company, Heineken is committed to the responsible marketing and consumption of its more than 200 international premium, regional, local and specialty beers and ciders.

The Heineken beer brand has a history of 140 years and is present in almost all countries of the world. It is today the world’s most valuable international premium beer brand. Since the brand’s earliest days, a deep passion for quality and a constant drive for progress have been at the center of the brand’s development. Born in Amsterdam, the Heineken brand was raised by the world, growing through the insights gained via the permanent communication with its consumers all over the globe.

The Heineken Beer comes to Moldova with the message "Brought for you from Europe, directly from Holland." It positions the brand as an original beer, produced in Holland and imported directly from Amsterdam.

The Heineken beer is represented on the local market by the largest beer producer in Republic of Moldova - EFES Vitanta Moldova Brewery, being a part of the international group EFES Beer Group. At the beginning of this year the company Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. signed a contract with EVMB to become an exclusive distributor of Heineken brand in Moldova. The EVMB has a strong image on the local market and an extensive experience in this field, which will sustain the awareness and attitude of Heineken brand image.
