CCI of RM: The 9th national exhibition "Made in Moldova"

The 9th national exhibition "Made in Moldova" will take place on 27 - 31 January 2010

At a recent sitting, the committee in charge with organizing the national exhibition "Made in Moldova" has decided that the 9th edition will be held in the period 27 - 31 January 2010, at the international exhibitions center Moldexpo. Businesses from Moldova and abroad have been invited to attend this event.

According to organizers, the multi-industry exhibition "Made in Moldova" is an event of national significance, which is held to support enterpreneurs in the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition displays solutions to the problems linked to the structure of sale and promotion of Moldovan products, gives the public an opportunity to buy local products of high quality, shapes the decision-making of consumers and of wholesale agents and retailers, orienting them to local trade, stimulati ng the production of competitive and quality goods.

Traditionally, the additional agenda of this event will be diverse, bringing together local and foreign specialists, representatives of public authorities, who will address actual topics of Moldovan economy, and on 29 January 2010 there will be an official ceremony to award the winners of the contest "Trademark of Year 2009".

During the past eight editions, "Made in Moldova" has become one of the biggest exhibitional events in Moldova, which was attended by companies from various field of activity and from various parts of the country, becoming this way an indicator of the main trends of development of the national economy.

In 2009, the universal national exhibition "Made in Moldova" was attended by 400 business entities from all branches of national econony, and the exhibitional area covered more than 2,400 square meters. The event was visited by guests from Belarus, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine. Overall, the exhibition contained two business forums, two workshops, nine round tables, which tackled different aspects of business and in which at least 1,000 specialists took part. The exhibition has produced a sizeable social impact, being visited by more than 40,000 people from all districts of Moldova.
