Modifications to the list of technical assistance projects which are exempt from to tax and customs duties This list comprises projects which benefit from exemptions from income tax, excises, customs duties and for which the zero rate of VAT applies, under international agreements the Republic of Moldova is a party to. New certificates for non-profit organizations From 1 June 2009 the Ministry of Justice will introduce a new format for registration certificates and state certificates for non-profit organizations. Existing certificates must be changed and this will be carried out free of charge. Visa requirement introduced for Romanian citizens visiting Moldova The visa requirement for Romanian citizens was introduced on 9 April 2009. This information is based on the provisions of Government Decree Nr.270, 10 April 2009, (to amend annex 1 of Government Decree Nr.1357 of 6 December 2007); Government Decree Nr.275, 10 April 2009, (on uniform models for registration certificates and state certificates for non-profit organizations); as well as Government Decree Nr.269, 8 April 2009, (on introducing a visa regime).
