Immediate relief to address Covid-19 pandemic

Children, Communities, Families Association (CCF Moldova) supported by the Coca-Cola Foundation is helping to fight Covid-19

For 16 years CCF Moldova has been working to reform the child protection system in Moldova and offer every child a family. Thanks to its programs in all these years 5777 children have found a safe and protected family environment. Many local and international partners provide their help to support this important mission of the CCF Moldova as well as make valuable impact to the whole society.

However, today people around the world  are facing a lot of challenges while fighting the COVID-19. Everyday statistics of the coronavirus human and economic costs is striking, but everywhere and every day this crisis is bringing out the best in people, driving the national unity and encouraging incredible acts of kindness and solidarity. These are challenging times for everyone and CCF Moldova supported by the grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation for immediate relief to address Covid-19 pandemic has joined the fight with COVID-19 to make sure that their help reaches those who need it the most.  Four medical  strategic institutions in Chisinau were equipped with vitally important equipment to fight with COVID-19. IMSP (The Institute of the Mother and Child) and The Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection received hematological analyzers. Two vein detectors were supplied for the Municipal Children’s Clinical Hospital “Valentin Ignatenco”. Also a high performance USG device was provided for the IMSP (The  Emergency Medicine Institute).

“This crisis is both a danger and an opportunity. A chance to care for most vulnerable, to do good for others, to find friends and partners and together to protect the humanity. This is what brought us together – CCF Moldova and Coca-Cola Foundation – a fight for our future, a hope for humanity”, mentioned Liliana Rotaru, Director CCF Moldova.

Coca-Cola HBC stepped up in the effort to cope with the crisis, it continues to make and deliver the essential beverages to pledge their support to vulnerable communities  during this challenging time.

Business environment and non-governmental organizations  are working together towards pandemic and providing essential help to keep people safe and healthy. We hope that along with other multinational organizations globally our response to this crisis will help people to see the silver lining – everywhere and every day Positive change is possible when all efforts are united and follow one aim –  we are in this together.
